Privacy Policy

BreezyCut is a barber booking application operated by Astrolab Enterprises ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the BreezyCut mobile app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have over it.

By downloading or using BreezyCut, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address and phone number. Your password is stored in encrypted (hashed) form and can never be read by us or anyone else.

Location information. BreezyCut's core feature is showing barbershops near you, so we ask for access to your device location when you use the map. You can grant, deny or revoke this permission at any time from your phone's settings. We use your location only to show nearby shops and never publish it to other users.

Barbershop information. If you register a barbershop, we collect the shop name, address, photos, and the official documents (ID, commerce registration) needed to verify your business before it goes live.

Payment receipts. For the barbershop subscription we collect the photo of your BaridiMob transfer receipt so our team can confirm your payment. We never collect, store or process card numbers or bank credentials.

Usage and device data. We collect basic technical data such as app version, device model and operating system, to keep the app working and improve it.

We use the information we collect to: provide and operate the app (accounts, map, bookings, queues, notifications); verify barbershops against their official documents; process subscription payments and approve or reject them; send you booking confirmations and reminders; prevent fraud and abuse; and improve, secure and troubleshoot the service.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

We share data only with the trusted service providers that are required to run the service, such as our database and hosting provider (Supabase), the map provider used to render barbershops (Mapbox), and the website hosting provider (Vercel). These providers process data on our behalf under our instructions.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, our team or the public.

We protect your data with industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, restricted access to personal data within our team, and monitoring for unusual activity. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.

We keep your information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data unless we are legally required to keep it.

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct inaccurate information, to request deletion of your account and data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account directly in the app, or contact us at support@BreezyCut.me and we will respond as soon as possible.

BreezyCut is not intended for children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our website uses minimal storage (such as local storage) to remember simple preferences. We do not use intrusive advertising trackers. If we later introduce analytics, this policy will be updated to describe them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of BreezyCut after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
